WHAT IF I'M BRAND NEW?

At SOBA, we strive to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and welcomed. Our studio is inclusive and neutral—welcoming all genders, shapes, sizes, and ages.

We open the studio 10 to 15 minutes before each class, inviting you to stretch, chill, and relax before the session begins. Post Class there’s no rush—take your time to ease into your day/night and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

For beginners, we recommend starting with Barre Classic, Mat Pilates, Vinyasa, Stretch, or Luxe Meditation.

Feel free to subscribe to our YouTube channel to explore classes before joining us in person.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Whatever you are able to comfortably move in!

Active-wear is the best for full range movement, but it's up to you.

All shoes are to be left at the door. Socks or no socks - is your choice.

Click the "More" tab on the top right hand side on our website. Then select "APP" tab. We recommend booking & cancelling via the app - easy peezy!

WHAT DO I BRING?

We’ll have the equipment you’ll need at the studio, so just bring a bottle of water, a sweat towel if you like & some positive vibes.

We set up the room for you. Mats and props are provided.

Please introduce yourself to the instructor on arrival.

VIRTUAL RECEPTION

Our reception is virtual. An account must be made prior to attending class with our terms and conditions signed.

Please advise instructor prior to class to assist or email us if you need help.

PHONE POLICY

We are a phone-free studio. Please leave your silent phone /off in the pigeonholes, not on the mat. This allows you to focus, prioritise your workout, and reset your mind. Use our waiting room for any Insta-worthy shots @wearesoba

DO YOU HAVE BATHROOM FACILITIES?

We have two showers and two bathrooms available for your use before or after class. Please bring your own towel for the shower; body wash is provided.

If you need to change before class, just let the instructor know and feel free to slide right in.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

Understanding basic studio etiquette will enhance your experience at SOBA.

Practicing self-awareness and respect for the instructor and fellow clients will help ensure a beneficial and stress-free session.

Arrival: Please arrive a min of 5 mins prior to class, place belongings in pigeon holes inc shoes, if class is on please remain quiet to avoid disruption in relaxation.
Mat and Equipment: Wipe down your mat and neatly return equipment after class unless instructed otherwise.
Belongings: We’re not responsible for valuables. Please store all belongings in the wooden pigeonholes.
Transactions: We are cashless and paperless. Complete all transactions online with a credit/debit card or bank transfer.
Special Circumstances: Inform the instructor of any special circumstances, such as pregnancy or injury, before class starts.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel, please do so at least three hours before your class to avoid a fee. For any issues, email us at contact@soba.com.au
Relaxation: Stay on the mat for guided relaxation to help your nervous system absorb the benefits of your practice. We don't recommended leaving class early as it is very distracting to others. On of our core values is mindfulness.
